한국과 세계를 연결하는 인재를 양성하는 글로벌한국학부는 글로벌한국학 전공과 한국어교육 전공으로 이루어져 있습니다. 글로벌한국학 전공은 세계와의 긴밀한 관계 속에서 성장하는 한국에 대한 지식을 초학제적으로 교육합니다. 한국어교육 전공은 학생들에게 고급 한국어 소통능력과 교육능력을 교육하여 외국인을 위한 한국어교육 전문가로 양성합니다. 글로벌한국학부 학생들은 한국에 대해 세계가 가진 지식을 습득하고 한국어 소통과 교육능력을 키움으로써 세계가 필요로 하는 한국에 대한 지식생산에 공헌하는 글로벌 커넥터로 성장합니다.
The Division of Global Korean Studies fosters talented individuals who connect Korea and the world. The Division consists of the Global Korean Studies major and the Korean Language Education major. The Global Korean Studies major provides students with knowledge of Korea that develops in close relationship with the world. The Korean Language Education major provides advanced Korean communication and teaching skills for students whose first language is not Korean and trains them to become experts in Korean language education for foreigners. Students in the Division of Global Korean Studies acquire knowledge about Korea from around the world and develop Korean communication and teaching skills to become global connectors who contribute to the production of knowledge about Korea that the world needs.

세계와의 긴밀한 관계 속에서 성장하는 한국을 초학제적으로 공부하는 글로벌한국학은 한국과 세계의 한국학을 연결하는 학문입니다. 글로벌한국전공은 학생들이 한국학 지식을 습득, 생산하며 인문사회적 그리고 데이터과학적 방법 모두를 사용할 수 있도록 융합교육을 실시하는 국내 유일의 한국학전공입니다. 학생들은 한국에 대해 세계가 가진 지식을 습득하고 세계가 필요로 하는 한국에 대한 지식을 생산함으로써 한국과 세계를 연결하는 글로벌 커넥터로 성장합니다.

한국어교육전공
한국어교육 전공은 한국어를 모어로 하지 않는 사람을 대상으로 한국어 소통 능력 향상을 위한 교수 학습 활동을 학제적으로 모색하는 학문 분야입니다. 소수정예의 국제 학생들을 선발해 한국어 고능력자를 양성하는 것을 목표로 할 것입니다. 타 언어권 출신의 학생이 한국에 관해 공부하기 위해서는 한국 관련 다양한 사료, 자료를 해석할 수 있어야 하며 이를 위해 고도의 한국어 능력이 필요합니다. 한국어 교원 2급 자격증 과정을 기본으로 하여 한국 미디어 통번역 전문가 과정, 한국 문화콘텐츠 실무 전략가 과정, 한국 지역학 전문가과정을 제공합니다.
