A guide to the issuance of undergraduate/graduate certificates

1. Issuance of online certificates (real-time printing)

Application process

Students can click on the SAINT portal at the top of the University website and log in by entering their ID and password (ID: student number). Students admitted in 2000 or earlier must add 19 to the beginning of their student number (e.g., 880000  19880000).

※ Go to SEARCH ID/PW in SAINT to recover a forgotten student number or password (or contact the One Stop Service Station).

Issuance fees

1,500 won for one copy (500-won certificate fee and 1,000-won agent service fee; 500 won per additional copy)

Payment methods

only credit card and mobile payments are accepted

Important note

A certificate is considered original only when it is printed in color (certificates printed in black and white are considered copies).

2. Fax services at community centers

Application process

Students can visit any community center nationwide and apply for a certificate in person (a photo ID is required). It takes less than 20 minutes to receive the certificate. Alternatively, students can use the online application service (www.gov.kr) and pick up the certificate at a designated community center.

Application hours

9am–4:30pm (the University business closes at 5pm)

Issuance fees: 1,300 won for one copy (300-won issuance fee and 1,000-won processing fee; 300 won per additional copy)

Note

Certificates issued at community centers are considered original. Proxy pickup is available based on a photo ID.

3. On-campus issuance: students can visit the One Stop Service Station (Room 106 of the main building; 02-705-8000) or use the automatic certificate issuance machine

The use of automatic certificate issuance machines

Three machines are available (two are located at the left entrance and one is located at the right entrance of the One Stop Service Station).

Operating hours: 9am–10pm (available on weekends and public holidays)

* Students can have their certificate issued by entering the ID and password they use when logging in to SAINT.

* Go to SEARCH ID/PW in SAINT to recover a forgotten student number or password.

Students can contact the CAPS station (02-705-8250) when the main building entrance is locked.

4. Certificate issuance through mail

Application process

Students can apply for a certificate by logging in to SAINT.

Go to SEARCH ID/PW in SAINT to recover a forgotten student number or password.

(Inquiries can be forwarded to the One Stop Service Station.)

Issuance fees

500 won for one copy + 2,000 won for domestic general registered mail;

24,000 won for overseas DHL express (received within three days) and 3,000 won for international mail (received within two weeks)

※ Applications through phone and email are not accepted (when a certificate is scanned at the One Stop Service Station, it is marked as “copy” with no issuance number).
